My Go To Simple Smokey Eye #wetlookglam

Theres nothing I love more than a simple but glam makeup look. For the past year if i've wanted a subtle but glam smokey eye look I automatically pick up either MAC Embark or MAC Swiss Chocolate. I feel like both of these shades have a warm undertone and just look good on everyone. Below I have used MAC Embark and mixed it with a subtle cream shimmer shade from the Love Revolution Palette. I think this look is easy to create even if you are just learning how to apply your eyeshadow, all you need is two good blending brushes, personally I love Real Techniques brushes but i'm really keen to try the Morphe and Spectrum brushes. To help give this look that summer glow I went heavy with my favourite Benefit Highlighter Dandelion Twinkle on my cheek bones and brown bone and set my skin with Barry M dewy finish setting spray. If that wasn't enough I also decided to keep my hair damp and spray it excessively with heat protector spray to give it that effortless sexy wet look if you know what I mean aha :) I hope you like this look, let me know what some of your go to eyeshadows are for that perfect smokey eye.
