Test The Trend: Coral Lip (Easy summer makeup)

It has to be a very special occasion for me not to be wearing a nude lip no matter what other makeup i'm wearing. However when it's summer I do like to make an exception.

When the sun is shining I feel like it's more acceptable to wear a bright lip during the day and at night. My wardrobe tends to be quite neutral and black is my favourite colour so a coral or red lip instantly helps take my look from winter to summer. I think a bold lip looks good with any eye makeup but when you are wearing a coral/orange lip like I am below I think it needs to have some depth, this is so the lipstick doesn't wash you out.

 I stuck to warm, gold and orange toned on eyeshadow and added a small amount of gel liner and mascara. I am wearing Clinique Lipstick in the colour Matte Mandarin which is currently discounted so see if you can get your hands on it in your local store. You can find similar lipsticks to the one i'm wearing on most beauty stalls or counters but two
