Gerard Cosmetics- Hydra Matte Lipstick: Everyday Glam!

Hey guys! How was everyones weekend? Hopefully a lot more exciting than mine! Needless to say I did not take advantage of the bank holiday and stayed in rather than getting drunk. Instead I had a night in with my bestie a Chinese and wine which was so much fun. Any way before I start rambling on back to todays post. Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Lipgloss. I have tried so many matte lip creams and found that so many of them did not stay on, made my lips extremely dry or started to flake mid way through the day. I wasn't a fan of the Rimmel Provoclaips Lip Colour as I found the product started to separate through the day especially if I tried to layer it with a lipgloss. I also wasn't a fan of the Loreal Infallible Matte Lip Paint as I struggled to find a nude colour that I loved and that it also made my lips very dry. I have very dry skin and in turn I think thats why I might always seem to have dry lips,so finding moisturising lip products is something I always look for. I finally came across Gerard Cosmetics whilst watching a random youtube make up tutorial in which they spoke about the Hydra Matte Lipstick. If your anything like me and just one person says something positive about a make up product I immediately feel like I have to try it. I currently only have one of these glosses in the colour Iced Mocha but i'm in love! The product is really easy to apply but I suggest using a lip liner before hand to give you a good guideline as the lipgloss is so pigmented that if you do mess up your line it is difficult to tidy after as the product drys so quickly.  I recently wore this product for dinner and a night out with my sisters  and I only reapplied a small amount once. This product is just insane. If i'm honest I could have got away with not topping it up but sometimes I worry that my lipstick is patchy or not as bright as it should be so I have a tendency to top up unnecessarily. However If you are looking for a hydra matte lip product thats long lasting and gorgeously pigmented this is it gals!!!! I cant recommend it enough and there is a huge range of colours to choose from.
