My Ilkley day trip

It was the end of exams for me a few of my friends and alongside the usual celebration of partying we thought why not go for a walk. One of my friends chloe we suggested going to Ilkley which was only 30mins away on a train from leeds. I thought it was a brilliant idea so we went. Ilkley is such a lovely town its small and quaint and full of things I LOVE! such as small cafes, restaurants and rustic pubs and beautiful english scenery.  Whilst there we did what most tourists do and climbed Ilkley Moor's, it took us about 2 and a half/ 3 hours to climb up the moor's but it was totally worth it. Once you get to the top you get such a wonderful as well as sense of achievement haha. I would suggest a day trip to Ilkley to anyone that lives in or around leeds, and if you do venture to Ilkley make sure you end your day at the Cow And Calf with a roast dinner and a cider. Ilkley is the perfect Sunday get away. I hope you enjoy this post and the pictures below.
